		<description>Politicians of all stripes LOVE to use logical fallacies. Since they&#039;ve ensured that our schools don&#039;t teach them any more, they have an easier time getting away with it. This, along with the next few that I will write about, are their favorites.

Obama has used an unusual form of the straw man: rather than exaggerate, he ignores altogether. In the health care debate, he doesn&#039;t address Conservative ideas, he denies there are any Conservative ideas. That&#039;s about the easiest Straw Man he could possibly create to go after.</description>

When I was about 12, a friend introduced me to a game called The Propaganda Game, a game about identifying various kinds of propaganda.  The Straw Man was one of these.

This past year I&#039;ve noticed the Straw Man also called the False Choice.

I believe the Straw Man is a particular favorite of President Obama.</description>
