The Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit all possess the qualities of Deity

The Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit all possess the distinct qualities of deity: omniscience (being all-knowing), omnipotence (being all-powerful), omnipresence (being in all places simultaneously), and eternality.

  • God is omniscient:
    • And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. – 1 Chronicles 28:9
    • Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? – Job 37:16
    • I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. – Job 42:2
    • Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. – Isaiah 42:9
    • For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. – 1 John 3:20
  • God is omnipotent:
    • And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. – Genesis 17:1
    • And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. – Exodus 6:3
    • I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. – Job 42:2
    • But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. – Psalm 115:3
    • Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: – Jeremiah 32:17

  • God is omnipresent:
    • Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. – Jeremiah 23:24
    • Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? – Isaiah 66:1
    • [48]Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, [49]Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? – Acts 7:48-49
    • [27]That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: [28]For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. – Acts 17:27-28
  • God is eternal:
    • The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them. – Deuteronomy 33:27
    • Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. – 1 Timothy 1:17
    • But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. – 1 Peter 5:10
  • Jesus is omniscient:
    • And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? – Matthew 9:4
    • Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. – John 16:30
    • He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. – John 21:17
    • [23] Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. [24] But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, – John 2:23-24
  • Jesus is omnipotent:
    • He created the world:
      • [16]For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17]And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. – Colossians 1:16-17
    • The devils obey him:
      • And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. – Mark 1:27
    • And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. – Matthew 28:18
    • [20]For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21]Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. – Philippians 3:20-21
  • Jesus is omnipresent:
    • For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. – Matthew 18:20
    • Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. – Matthew 28:20
    • Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. – John 1:48
    • And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. – John 3:13
    • [9](Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? [10]He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) – Colossians 3:11
    • Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. – Colossians 3:11
  • Jesus is eternal:
    • And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. – John 17:5
  • The Holy Spirit is omniscient:
    • But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. – 1 Corinthians 2:10
  • The Holy Spirit is omnipotent:
    • And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. – Luke 1:35
  • The Holy Spirit is omnipresent:
    • [7]Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? [8]If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. – Psalm 139:7-8
  • The Holy Spirit is eternal:
    • How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? – Hebrews 9:14
